Please Help Us Make a Difference in a Young Person’s Life!
Since 1993 the citizens and businesses of Frankfort and Franklin County have helped the Frankfort Rotary Cub and its co-sponsors, the Frankfort Plant Board and Burch Court Dental award nearly 200 area students with scholarships to pursue training and education beyond high school .

Over the 29 years of its existence the Frankfort Rotary Youth Fund has provided financial assistance to help area students pursue a wide variety of careers at two- and four-year colleges as well as technical and vocational schools. As the following testimonies attest, our scholarships play an essential role in helping local youth meet their potential.
Here’s how a few of our recent scholarship recipients
describe the role of these awards in their college and career paths:
"The Rotary Scholarship helped me purchase books and other necessary resources needed for my degree."
-- Benjamin Curry, 2021 Scholarship Winner, Pursuing a Fire and Rescue degree at Bluegrass Community and Technical College.
"The scholarship will help me graduate from college debt-free. Though I had some college savings, they were not enough to cover all 9 semesters. I am so thankful to the Rotary Youth
Fund for its generosity."
-- Cienna Slattery, 2018 Scholarship Winner, Pursuing a Computer and Information Science degree at Berea College.
"The scholarship provided me a way to kick start my welding career without putting me into a hole of debt. The financial assistance made trade school much more feasible and the additional training allowed me to start my career at a more advanced level."
-- Kayla Kelly, 2018 Scholarship Winner, Graduate of Tulsa Welding School, Apprentice Welder, Local 40 of Boilermakers Union.
